Nintendo of America has confirmed that the game will be a remake of the original, often thought to be the best game ever, rather than a direct port. As such, it will stay 100% true to the original whilst incorporating new aspects that are now possible with the advancements that have been made by the Nintendo DS, DSi and 3DS over the past six years, though the game is definitely a Nintendo 3DS title.
