Nintendo if Europe has launched their webpage for Paper Mario on Nintendo 3DS and, whether or not it's simply a placeholder, the fact that they've even just posted a date on the page is going to start tongues wagging. The date in question is 25 March 2011 - which is, as with all European releases, a Friday.

Is it accidental, or is there announcement looming over at NOE HQ? We'll have to wait to find out.

Update: Well, apparently, we didn't have to wait long. Nintendo of Europe has changed the date to "TBD" and posted a note on the game page saying that "[a] technical error previously stated an inaccurate release date". Might still be worth keeping note of the date, but for now that leaves the rumours pretty much quashed.
