SEGA Europe Announces Q1 2010 Release Dates (Posted October 13, 2009 at 07:10)
SEGA Europe has officially dated two of its Nintendo DS titles for release in the first part of next year, and given release windows for the others.

We haven't been given any new dates from SEGA for a while now, which would probably explain why seven of the developer's titles have recently been given release dates or windows. We'll start with the news that Bleach: The 3rd Phantom has finally been dated for release on 5 February 2010 and that Phantasy Star Ø will be following on 12 February 2010.

They won't be the first SEGA titles to grace European shores in 2010, however, as Sands of Destruction will be released in January. Following in February alongside the two aforementioned titles is Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing on Wii, Nintendo DS and other formats. Whereas not given a strict release window, SEGA also confirmed that Super Monkey Ball Step & Roll will be released in Winter 2010, which makes for a rather packed first three months before we even know what everyone else is bringing.

The fun won't stop there, however, as SEGA are also looking to Spring 2010, when the Western world will finally get its hands on the long-awaited Infinite Space , one of SEGA's special collaboration projects with PlatinumGames. This was announced all the way back at E3 2008, and E3 2010 could well be underway by the time we get this. SEGA also have the rights to the Iron Man 2 videogame, which will appear on all formats in April 2010 before the film's US release on May 7.

We might have to wait a short while before we hear of any more 2010 titles, but why worry about that? Christmas 2009 is gonna be a corker.
